«Daghestan is a mountainous country»

I am ZumurudValiyullaeva. I am in the 10^th form. My birthplace is Daghestan. It is situated at the foot of the Caucasian mountains near the Caspian sea. Daghestan is often called "The
country of mountains". I like that in my region most valued human dignity. From childhood we are taught to cherish their honor and nobility, it's important that is in the soul and will stay there until old age. It is important for us and the family. No matter what happens in our life, we are always remember of the relatives. It is believed that all of man can only know by how he treats his family

The Daghestanmountains are rich in majestic and beautiful rockies, canyons, caves. As a mountainous country, it has also a great number of ranges , hills and highlands. In the inner mountain areas there area chainsof high mountains ranges. They are: Andy range,Salatau, Gimrin and Pushkintau. The highest simmits of the ranges are 2,500 meters high. The inner Daghestan has a lot of rocky ranges which cross with each other. The highest peak of the range is 4,466 meters in Daghestan.

We can see a lot of mountains around our village. The tops of the mountains are covered with over lasted snow and glaciers .I live in a small village KarhirKumukh. There is the town Buynaksk near our village .Buynaksk is considered to be a gate into the mountains. It was an administrative centre of the Daghestan Republic up to 1922.

With the mountains are

associated the historical past, the present and the future of my people. Daghestan is unthinkable without mountains, villages, soaring in the blue sky eagles, grazing flocks of sheep, without a murmur of springs, winding roads over precipices ,without valleys , blossoming and fertile. Our mountainsarethe arena of numerous military conflicts, the outcome of which was decided by courage and bravery of the local population. Daghestanis have always preferedpeace to war.

I'm proud of my Republic. I like the place where I was born, because it is very beautiful, and people who live here are very friendly and hospitable.

Oh, Daghestan! A country of beautiful mountains,

thecountry winds, the great lakes.

So a surprisingly wide expanse of her,

friendly human faces.

Here speak different languages,

but understand the other perfectly.

Sounds like a fabulous echo in the mountains

good only repeating again.
